Regardless of the wintery weather, the family, many friends and well-wishers attended the book launch held at the Coconut Lagoon Restaurant in Ottawa.  Everyone appreciated the graceful presence of the dignitaries, Mark Sutcliffe, the Hon. Mayor of Ottawa and Kiritharan Kumarasamy the Hon. A/ High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Canada, and celebrated the novel Living Outside the Box - Time and Time Again, while tasting delicious refreshments offered by the restaurant owner Joe Thottungal.

On behalf of members of Ottawa city Council, the Mayor Sutcliffe presented a framed certificate to the author, to recognize the valuable contribution she has made to the development of the literary arts in the city.  It was the highlight of the event.
